Airmiles are working in partnership with ShP Limited to offer up to 750 Airmiles if you recycle your mobile phone.
All you need to do is go to the dedicated mobile phone recycling page on the Airmiles website, enter details about the make and model, condition and serial number and then you’ll be shown what your mobile phone is worth in Airmiles.
According to the Airmiles/ShP information, most mobile phones can be reused once they’ve been wiped.
If they can be reused they’re sent to developing countries.
If they can’t be reused they’re recycled in line with the European Waste Electrical and Electronic (WEEE) Directive which means everything is reused.
All the profits are used towards environmental projects.
All your Airmiles earnt can be used towards free days out, flights and holidays – and to offest the carbon from your flights.
You can also collect Airmiles on the high street through such as Tesco, Lloyds TSB and Shell and online with such as johnlewis.com, debenhams.com, hmv.com and eBay.co.uk.
