Norwich Union is on the search for the country’s weird and wonderful collections.
The insurer, soon to be Aviva, wants people to upload images to their happysback web site.
They are offering five winners £500 each and also the best collections will feature in a short online movie which will celebrate the eccentric collectors.
The site is being launched detailing information about Angela Rippon’s teddy bear collection and that of Michael Vaughan’s room dedicated to football and cricket memorabilia.
All of this is seeking to promote the happysback site and of course encourage you to take out home insurance. Mind you, Norwich Union are offering free contents insurance to new customers when they buy buildings insurance. This is as long as you have been claim free for 3 years or more on your current buildings and contents insurance.
So uploading images of a quirky collection, sounds a good idea to me. In fact, where is my match box collection???
