Easter Eggs galore! Valentines Day meal for £9!

Tesco has confirmed that it has bought up many of the Easter Eggs that had been ordered by the now lost Woolworths.

Woolworths, prior to its administration, was the largest Easter egg seller. Tesco is now poised to take this coveted place.

As Easter is the second biggest chocolate selling occasion, only surpassed by Christmas, this all seems good news for the chocoholics amongst us.

According to Tesco, they will be selling many of the Easter eggs at cheaper prices than Woolworths planned to sell them at.

Not to be outdone, and perhaps fuelling an Easter Egg price war, Asda have advised that they will price match or beat the Tesco price.

So, not only will there still be a plentiful supply of Easter Eggs this year but there will be the opportunity to save money too!

Oh and with Valentines day coming up….

If staying in is your new going out, then Tesco’s have introduced a £9 Finest meal deal for two. This includes a main dish, a side dish, dessert and wine. Wow!

There’s also the £20 deal from M&S, with starter, main meal, side dish, dessert and bottle of wine, and a single stem rose too.

Finally if a meal isn’t right for you, how about the £10 deal from Sainsbury’s with a bottle of Codorniu original Cava Rosado Brut and a box of Thorntons chocolates.

Just spoilt for choice….roll on Valentines day…..roll on Easter!
