LEGOLAND Windsor ‘Kids Go Free’ Offer

LEGOLAND Windsor is trying a world record attempt for the ‘Largest Gathering of Pirates‘ and as part of this are offering a ‘Kids Go Free‘ offer for children who come dressed as pirates.

Legoland WindsorIf you fancy taking part in this world record attempt at LEGOLAND Windsor, it’s on Saturday 20 March 2010 at 11.30 am sharp, with participants needing to arrive by 10.30am.

For more information and to download your ‘Kids Go Free’ voucher go to the LEGOLAND website.

The Pirate record attempt is being undertaken as part of the launch of the park’s brand new land, Parates Landing. This new land will have a range of great family activities and a brand new ride, the Jolly Rocker which is a swinging pirate ship which swings up to 18 metres.

To be part of the World record attempt, guests need to make sure they are dressed to impress and conform to the strict pirate dress code set by Guinness World Records.  Your finest pirate costumes must include pirate-themed top and bottoms, a pirate accessory (either a sword, hook, parrot or scull and crossbones flag), a pirate hat or bandanna and most importantly an eye patch!

To achieve the record for the largest gathering of pirates, at least 1,600 pirate impersonators need to gather together for 10 minutes.
